The highest international standard in textiles

At Elemental Coloring we want to deliver the best quality and that naturally goes hand in hand with our GOTS certification. As a brand, we are GOTS certified and all our products are also GOTS certified. GOTS is the highest international standard in textiles and we naturally follow it with all our products.

All our products consist of organic cotton, which is certified, as are all links in our value chain. In this way, we ensure the highest international certification standard for our products.

In addition to GOTS certified clothing, we also offer natural dyeing. This dyeing technology is approved by GOTS and means that we do not use any synthetic chemicals in the dyeing process and we can thereby offer chemical-free clothes that are also GOTS certified.

What is GOTS certification?

GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard and is an international standard for textiles. In order to be certified, you as a brand must go through a long process, where all workflows and processes are reviewed by an independent third party. It is everything from emergency preparedness in case of accidents to wages and working conditions for all employees. GOTS sets strict requirements for the cotton, which must be organic and must be traceable all the way back to the individual cotton farmer.

Every year, an independent third party reviews our certification with visits both to our sewing facility in Turkey and to our office and warehouse in Denmark. In this way, it is ensured that GOTS certified products are not mixed with conventional products and vice versa. In relation to Elemental Coloring, this is no problem, as we only sell GOTS certified products.

Through our GOTS certification and the independent third-party control, we can thereby ensure that the cotton is organic and that the working conditions in all links in the value chain meet the strictest standards in textiles.
